The Mayfair Pub and Kitchen
Promo Staff
Harrogate HG1 2RE · United Kingdom · onsite · permanent
£15 an hour
About the role
We're looking for enthusiastic, outgoing Flyer Distributors to help promote our brand and events across the local community. You'll be the face of our organisation — chatting to the public, handing out promotional materials, and spreading the word about what we do. If you've got great communication skills, a positive attitude, and an interest in marketing and customer engagement, we'd love to hear from you. This is a paid role and a fantastic way to build real experience in marketing and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Distribute flyers, posters, and promotional materials at key locations and event venues
- Engage with members of the public in a friendly, professional manner to promote our services and upcoming events
- Deliver materials accurately and efficiently within your assigned areas
- Represent the organisation positively through courteous, approachable interactions
- Collect feedback and contact details from interested individuals where appropriate
- Follow safety guidelines and organisational policies at all times
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of people
- Customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential — a warm, approachable manner is what matters most
- Good organisational skills to manage your distribution routes efficiently
- Reliable transport to reach various distribution points (public transport or your own vehicle)
- Ability to work independently and responsibly outdoors
- Previous marketing or promotional experience is helpful but not required
- Must be over 18.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone keen to develop their marketing and communication skills while playing an active part in local community outreach. You'll gain hands-on experience in a lively, supportive environment — and get paid for it.
