About the role
Key Responsibilities
- *Blueprint Interpretation*: Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric sketches, and fabrication plans.
- *Pipe Preparation*:
- Measure, cut, bevel, and thread pipes using manual and powered tools.
- Select appropriate pipe grades and schedules (e.g., ASTM A106 Gr B, SCH 40/80).
- *Assembly & Welding*:
- Fit and tack weld pipe spools and supports.
- *Quality Control*:
- Inspect joints, welds, and assemblies for defects.
- Conduct hydrostatic or pneumatic testing as required.
- *Safety & Compliance*:
- Follow site safety protocols and PPE requirements.
