Senior Design Manager – Private Residences (Part-Time)
*Company:* Alandlos Contracting LLC – Interior & Landscape Department *Location:* Dubai, with regular meetings in Abu Dhabi *Employment type:* Part-time, project-based *Schedule:* Approximately 20–24 hours per week, arranged around client meetings
We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead client communication for a large, confidential private residential project. You will turn client discussions into clear design briefs, guide presentations and approvals, and ensure the interior and landscape teams act on every decision.
*Key responsibilities*
- Lead client briefing meetings and design review presentations.
- Understand the client’s lifestyle, functional needs, preferences and priorities.
- Prepare written briefs, meeting summaries, decision registers and follow-up actions.
- Debrief the design team after meetings and track responses through to approval.
- Coordinate presentations with interior designers, landscape designers and consultants.
- Maintain professional, discreet communication with the client’s appointed representatives.
- Identify requests that may affect the agreed scope, fee or programme and raise them with the Design Director.
*Requirements*
- At least 8 years of experience in luxury residential interior design, architecture or design management.
- Proven experience leading client meetings and presenting high-end residential designs.
- Strong understanding of space planning, finishes, FF&E and technical design coordination.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organisation, discretion and attention to detail.
- Availability to attend scheduled meetings in Abu Dhabi.
Experience with private estates, family offices or ultra-high-net-worth clients is an advantage.
