About the role
We are looking for a creative and experienced Draftsman with Quantity Surveyor position to join our team in Dubai. As an QS-Draftsman Assistant, you will be responsible for producing accurate 2D/3D shop drawings, as well as conducting precise material take-offs and assisting with project costing.

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings for landscape, civil, and related works.
· Maintain proper drawing layers, line types, scales, blocks, and drawing standards.
· Review drawings and ensure all information is clearly presented and coordinated.
· Assist the QS team with quantity take-offs from drawings.
· Calculate quantities for materials such as paving, kerbs, concrete, irrigation, softscape, hardscape, and other landscape works.
· Prepare BOQ quantities and measurement sheets under the guidance of the Quantity Surveyor.
· Compare drawings with BOQ quantities and identify discrepancies.
· Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and quantity measurement drawings.
· Update drawings according to site changes and QS requirements.
· Coordinate with QS, Engineers, Site Teams, and Project Managers to obtain accurate project information.
· Maintain proper filing and revision control of drawings.
· Support the QS department in preparing variations, interim measurements, and material quantity calculations when required.
*Required Skills & Qualifications:*
· Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
· Good knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing layer management.
· Understanding of construction/landscape drawings and measurements.
· Basic to good knowledge of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
· Knowledge of Excel and measurement sheets.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
· Experience in a landscape or construction company is preferred.
