About the role
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
1. Ensure the smooth daily operation of the showroom and maintain high standards of customer service.
2. Manage staff performance, training, motivation, shift scheduling, attendance, and leave records.
3. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and work towards achieving sales targets and budgets.
4. Manage inventory, including stock availability, product rotation, ordering, transfers, GRN, purchasing requisitions, and adjustments.
5. Ensure products, showroom displays, advertising materials, and promotional areas are clean, attractive, and properly arranged.
6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and problems while maintaining strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
7. Conduct regular sales meetings, provide guidance to staff, and develop strategies to improve sales and team performance.
8. Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and management regarding purchasing, stock clearance, new products, and business requirements.
9. Support marketing activities, including promotions, advertising campaigns, market surveys, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, health, and security procedures while maintaining overall showroom performance.
Skills and Abilities
- 3–5 years of experience in retail/showroom management.
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
- Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory, stock control and showroom operations.
- Ability to manage staff scheduling, performance and daily operations.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and POS systems.
- UAE retail experience preferred.
