Part-Time Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper – Automotive Workshop

About the role
Platinum One Auto is looking for an experienced part-time Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage and improve our day-to-day financial records.
This is an *onsite position*, not a remote role. We need someone hands-on who can work directly with our workshop team, collect the necessary documents and ensure every transaction is correctly recorded.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Maintain accurate accounts in Zoho Books
- Reconcile bank, card, Tabby and cash transactions
- Reconcile Garage Plug jobs against invoices and payments
- Record cash sales, cash expenses and staff salary payments
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up overdue payments
- Check supplier invoices and manage accounts payable
- Correctly record parts, stock, COGS and job profitability
- Maintain the fixed-asset register and calculate depreciation
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reports
- Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax preparation
- Work with our external accounting and tax advisers
- Identify errors, missing documents and accounting discrepancies
*Required Experience*
- Minimum five years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong practical experience with Zoho Books
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
- Experience with inventory, job costing and fixed assets
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to independently reconcile incomplete or disorganised records
- Automotive workshop or service-business experience is preferred
- ACCA, CMA, CA or similar qualification/part-qualification is preferred
- Must currently be based in Dubai and available to work onsite in Al Quoz
*What We Are Looking For*
We are not looking for a basic data-entry accountant. We need someone confident enough to question incorrect entries, investigate discrepancies and provide management with clear and reliable monthly figures.
The successful candidate will initially join on a three-month trial, with the opportunity to develop into a larger role based on performance.
